Intergenia provides a wide range of shared, dedicated and fully-managed cloud hosting solutions through its brands PlusServer, Serverloft, Serve4You and Unmetered.com. In addition, the company runs WorldHostingDays, the largest series of trade shows worldwide.

We acquired a majority stake from the founders in December 2011 at an enetrprise value of €84m and partnered with the founders to grow and develop the business.

Under Oakley’s ownership, organic growth was enhanced during  through a successful buy-and-build strategy, where we completed five bolt-on acquisitions at low multiples. These acquisitions significantly expanded Intergenia’s managed hosting division and improved the company’s cash flow characteristics.

In January 2015, the business was sold to Host Europe Group at an enterprise value of €210m, generating a 2.4x return and 36% IRR.

Peter Dubens

Managing Partner & Co-Founder

Peter Dubens is the founder and Managing Partner of the Oakley Capital Group, a privately-owned asset management and advisory group comprising Private Equity, Venture Capital, Corporate Finance managing approximately €5 billion.

Peter founded Oakley Capital in 2002 to be a best of breed entrepreneurially driven UK investment house, creating an ecosystem that supports the companies Oakley Capital invests in whether they are early stage companies or established businesses.

David Till

Senior Partner & Co-Founder

David Till co-founded the Oakley Capital Group in 2002 with Peter Dubens. David plays a key role within the group and has overall responsibility for operations, finance, due diligence, compliance and fund formation.

David worked with Peter Dubens on the development of 365 Media Group plc and Pipex Communications plc where he led all the 26 acquisitions and disposals between 2002 and 2007. In 2007 following the sale of both 365 Media Group plc and Pipex Communications plc, Peter and David launched Oakley Capital Private Equity.

David holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from Essex University. He started his career in the British Army, then later qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand and worked in industry as a finance director, before returning to the profession holding senior M&A roles.

Alex Collins

Partner

Alex joined Oakley in 2007 and has over 24 years of private equity investment and operational experience Alex’s focus at Oakley is primarily on deal origination, execution, and investment advice.

Alex began his career at GE Capital in 1995 before being seconded to Advent International for two years as Associate Director. He subsequently joined Henderson Private Capital as Principal. Alex joined Oakley in 2007 from Wharfedale Capital where he was a Partner involved in purchasing secondary assets.

Alex holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and a BA in Economic History from Union College, New York.

Rebecca Gibson

Partner

Rebecca joined Oakley in 2014 and has over 19 years of private equity investment experience. Rebecca’s responsibilities include managing the investment committee and the investment team, as well as leading the Stakeholder Engagement Team. Rebecca also has some portfolio responsibilities and oversees, with David Till, the portfolio review process.

Prior to joining Oakley, Rebecca was a partner at Cinven. During her 12-year career at Cinven, she led and worked on deals in the healthcare, consumer and service sectors across Europe, and assisted with several successful fundraisings. Prior to joining Cinven, Rebecca spent five years working as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company in the UK and South Africa.

Rebecca holds a BA (Hons) in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University.

David Brickell

Partner

David joined Oakley in 2013 and has over 20 years of principal investing, M&A and operational experience. David’s focus at Oakley is primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice.

David started his career at Credit Suisse’s Principal Transaction Group in 1998 in New York and London, before moving to Morgan Stanley in London where he focused on media and telecoms M&A and private equity. He then moved to Candover, where he was an Investment Director involved in a wide range of prospective, completed and exited deals and he also jointly set up Candover’s Asian operations in Hong Kong. He subsequently spent four years as the co-founder and COO of a SaaS internet start-up before joining Oakley in 2013.

David holds an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD Business School in France/Singapore, and an MA (Oxon) in Law from Pembroke College, Oxford.

Arthur Mornington

Partner

Arthur joined Oakley in 2016 and has over 20 years of private equity investing experience. Arthur’s focus at Oakley is primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice.

Prior to joining Oakley, Arthur was a Partner at Charterhouse Capital Partners where he worked for 10 years. During his time at Charterhouse he was involved in the origination, execution and management of a number of the firm’s successful investments – especially in the media, education and business services sectors. He started his career at Bain & Company and has also worked at BC Partners and Exponent Private Equity.

Arthur holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and an honours degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Christ Church, Oxford.

Ralf Schremper

Partner

Ralf joined Oakley in 2017 and has over 19 years of M&A and investment experience. Ralf’s focus at Oakley is primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice.

Prior to joining Oakley, Ralf served as a Member of the Executive Board and Chief Strategy and Investment Officer of DAX-listed ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, the publicly listed German media company. In this role, he was directly responsible for the Company’s strategic acquisitions in recent years, significantly contributing to the expansion of ProSiebenSat.1’s digital entertainment and commerce portfolio. Previously, he held senior positions at Bertelsmann, RTL Group, and was founder and CEO of an online education start-up.

Ralf holds a PhD in Finance (summa cum laude) from University of Bochum and a Master in Business Administration (Diplom-Kaufmann) from University of Cologne.

Steven Tredget

Partner

Steven joined Oakley in 2017 and has more than 18 years of investment banking experience. Steven’s focus is fund raising, communications and investor relations for Oakley and its portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Oakley, Steven was a founding partner of investment bank Liberum Capital. Over 9 years he raised equity capital for hundreds of companies and advised on public market listings. He began his career in 1997 at Collins Stewart, where he held equity research and sales roles.

Steven holds a BSc (Hons) in Banking and Finance from Loughborough University

Arnaud de Cremiers

Partner

Arnaud joined Oakley in 2019 and has more than 19 years of M&A and investment experience.

Prior to joining Oakley, Arnaud was a Partner at Adams Street where he worked for 15 years. During his time at Adams Street, he led over $4 billion in investment across 90+ distinct primary fund commitments, whilst also working on fundraising activities and relationship management of both potential and existing clients. Prior to this, he spent three years at Access Capital Partners gaining exposure to European venture capital and mid-market buyout fund investments.

Arnaud holds a Master of Administration from Neoma Business School and a Master of Science in Economics and Finance from the University of Paris.

Sam Fenton-Whittet

Partner

Sam joined Oakley in 2015 and focuses primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice. During his time at Oakley, Sam has worked on Oakley’s investments in Time Out Market, IU Group, Schülerhilfe, Inspired, Ocean Technologies Group and ICP Education.

Prior to joining Oakley, Sam was Speechwriter and Private Secretary to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne. He previously worked in a number of finance positions in HM Treasury, including as senior adviser responsible for coordinating the government’s £40bn annual capital budget.

Sam holds an MA (Oxon) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Balliol College, Oxford.

Sascha Günther

Sascha joined Oakley in 2018 and focuses primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice with a focus on the German-speaking region.

Prior to joining Oakley, Sascha was Vice President at ProSiebenSat.1 where he led on multiple investments in the Technology, Media and Consumer space. Previous to this, Sascha worked as a management consultant at Oliver Wyman, advising on Retail & Consumer and Private Equity.

Sascha holds an MBA from the London Business School and a degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Technische Universität München, Germany.

Valero Domingo

Partner

Valero joined Oakley in 2021 and has over 15 years of principal investing, M&A and operational experience. Valero’s focus at Oakley is primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice.

Valero started his investing career in 2008 at the private equity team of 3i Group before moving to JP Morgan to develop the European market for Highbridge, their alternative investments fund. In 2016, he joined Charme Capital Partners, where he participated in a wide variety of private equity deals and established the Madrid office.

Valero holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York, as well as an MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Granada after being awarded a full grant to study at the University of California, Irvine (USA).

Vicente Castellano

Operating Partner

Vicente joined Oakley in 2017 and has over 17 years of experience in managing, developing and coordinating global leading retail brands. Vicente’s focus at Oakley is to lead and develop the portfolio companies, with a current focus on North Sails Apparel and the Iconic BrandCo.

Prior to joining Oakley, Vicente worked as Managing Director at Hackett London, where he managed the development and growth of the brand to become an international player.

Prior to this, Vicente was Licensees and International Director for Pepe Jeans London and Director at Coach Europe JV and had been Board Member in Pepe Jeans Group since 2005. During these 17 years Vicente has actively participated in the growth and performance of the group and been involved in three successful buy outs from different Private Equity Groups.

Vicente holds a BA in Business Administration and Finance from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and was part of INSEAD Young Managers Programme.

Amjid Zaman

Chief Financial Officer

Amjid joined Oakley in 2008 and has over 18 years of operational finance experience in the technology, media and financial services sectors. Amjid’s focus at Oakley is managing all financial and business planning activities within the Oakley Group.

Prior to joining Oakley, Amjid was Group Financial Controller at Pipex which executed a buy and build strategy of telecoms and hosting companies followed by sale of the integrated businesses. He started his career at Deloitte and has also worked at Singlepoint (Caudwell Group) and Pembroke VCT.

Amjid qualified as a chartered accountant in 1997 and holds a BA (Hons) in Engineering Science from Exeter College, Oxford.

Aaron Kienwald

Chief Operating Officer

Aaron is Oakley Capital’s Group Chief Operating Officer having joined in 2020 from private practice law. Aaron is responsible for the group’s operations in particular legal and regulatory, compliance, HR and Tax with a particular focus on fundraising working closely with the investor relations and deal teams.

He started his career in the private funds team at SJ Berwin where he qualified as a solicitor and went on to work at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, advising the Oakley Capital group along with a number of blue chip private equity firms on fundraising and fund-advisory work.

Aaron holds a History degree from King’s College London and is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.

Zoe Lockwood

Chief People Officer

Zoe joined Oakley in 2021 and has over 16 years of Human Resources experience. Zoe’s focus is to build and execute the HR strategy across Oakley.

Prior to joining Oakley, Zoe was HR Director at Cinven. During her nearly 10-year career at Cinven, she was responsible for determining and delivering the HR strategy across all global locations. Prior to this, she spent five years as a HR generalist at Merrill Lynch in London and Geneva.

Zoe is a Chartered Member of the CIPD. She holds an MA (Hons) in Personnel and Development from the University of Westminster and a BA (Hons) in French and Management from Leeds University.

David Keech

Managing Director

David joined Oakley in 2010 and focuses primarily on deal execution and investment advice. During his time at Oakley, David has worked with a number of Oakley’s online assets, including Emesa, Verivox, Facile and Casa & atHome. In addition, David has worked on ACE Education in the higher education sector.

Prior to joining Oakley, David worked at KPMG Corporate Finance for four years advising on mid-market M&A transactions in the Consumer and Healthcare markets in the UK and Western Europe.

David holds the ICAEW’s Advanced Diploma in Corporate Finance and an MA (Oxon) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Magdalen College, Oxford.

Alessandro Celli

Investment Director

Alessandro joined Oakley in 2020 and has 15 years of private equity and management experience. Alessandro’s focus at Oakley is deal origination, execution and investment advice.

Before joining Oakley, Alessandro worked at Deliveroo in various general management roles, serving more recently as a Member of the Executive Team and Chief Business Officer for the UK&I region. Prior to Deliveroo, he was the founder and CEO of an e-commerce start-up and a member of the investment team at Francisco Partners and Providence Equity Partners, where he focused on TMT investments across Europe. He started his career in investment banking with Morgan Stanley.

Alessandro studied in Milan and London and holds a MSc in Business and Law from Bocconi University in Milan.

Andre Augustin

Investment Director

Andre joined Oakley in 2020 and has over 15 years of private equity, principal investing and leveraged finance experience. Andre’s focus at Oakley is primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice.

Prior to joining Oakley, Andre led the Principal Investment effort for Macquarie Capital in the German speaking region. Prior to that, he worked for Warburg Pincus’ TMT & Business Services team and for the mid-market private equity firm Cognetas. Andre started his career at JPMorgan in Leveraged Finance. During his time at these firms, he has been involved in a number of transactions and held various advisory board positions.

Andre studied in Paris, Oxford and Berlin and holds a MSc in Management, a Diplôme de Grande École and a Diplom-Kaufmann from ESCP Europe.

Jonathan Clapham

Investment Director

Jonathan joined Oakley in 2015 and focuses primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice. During his time at Oakley, Jonathan has worked on Oakley’s investments in Casa & atHome, Dexters, Idealista and TechInsights.

Prior to joining Oakley, Jonathan worked at Canaccord Genuity, advising mid-market private equity houses and corporate clients on a variety of public and private company M&A transactions. Jonathan started his career in PwC’s Corporate Finance team.

Jonathan is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from Manchester University.

Konstantin Synetos

Investment Director

Konstantin joined Oakley in 2018 and focuses primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice.

Prior to joining Oakley, Konstantin worked at OPTrust Private Markets Group in London, working on direct and fund investments across Private Equity and Infrastructure in Europe. Previously, Konstantin worked at Jefferies in London, where he advised on M&A transactions in the Industrials sector across Europe.

Konstantin holds an MBA from INSEAD Business School in Paris and Singapore and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics with Economics from University College London (UCL).

Lovis von Andrian

Investment Director

Lovis joined Oakley in 2016 and focuses primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice. During his time at Oakley, he has worked on a number of Oakley‘s current and realised investments including  WebPros, Contabo, Windstar Medical, Ocean Technologies Group, TechInsights and Parship Group. Lovis is based in London and focuses particularly on the Technology sector in the UK and Germany.

Prior to joining Oakley, Lovis worked at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the Equity Funds Team and in PwC’s Transaction Services team in London.

Lovis is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) and holds a BSc (Hons) in Management from Royal Holloway, University of London.

Tom Twiney

Investment Director

Tom joined Oakley in 2014 and focuses primarily on deal execution and investment advice. During his time at Oakley, Tom has worked on the acquisitions of Damovo, Parship and WebPros. Tom has also managed the implementation of the iLevel portfolio management system.

Prior to joining Oakley Capital, Tom was Head of Commercial Finance at Daisy Group plc and has experience of pricing, project finance, budgeting and monthly reporting.

Tom is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics with Computer Science from Durham University.

Cristina Popescu

Investment Manager

Cristina joined Oakley in 2019 and focuses primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice.

Prior to joining Oakley, Cristina worked at Barclays Bank in London and focused on investment grade and leveraged loan origination in the UK. Previously, Cristina worked in Barclays’ loan syndication team, where she focused on arranging and underwriting transactions across the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany and the Benelux region.

Cristina holds an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD Business School in Paris and Singapore, is a CFA® charterholder and holds a BSc (Hons) in Management from Warwick Business School.

Daniel Wolfgarten

Daniel joined Oakley in 2019 and focuses primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice.

Prior to joining Oakley, Daniel worked at Perella Weinberg Partners in London, where he advised on M&A transactions in the Industrials sector across Europe.

Daniel holds a MSc and BSc in Business Administration and Management from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.

 

Luke Frizoni

Investment Manager

Luke joined Oakley in 2013 and focuses primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice. During his time at Oakley, Luke has worked on Oakley’s investments in North Sails, Daisy Group, Alessi and Globe-Trotter.

Prior to joining Oakley, Luke worked in the Transaction Services team at Deloitte LLP in London, where he provided financial due diligence to corporate and private equity clients undertaking M&A and public transactions.

Luke is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Studies from Cass Business School, City University London.

Mike Mutsaers

Mike joined Oakley in 2018 and focuses primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice.

Prior to joining Oakley, Mike worked at Bain & Company, working on corporate strategy and re-organisation projects across a range of industries, as well as multiple commercial due-diligence projects as part of the private equity practice. Previously, Mike worked at Slaughter and May, where he focused on corporate and M&A advisory, as well as debt and equity capital markets.

Mike is a qualified solicitor and holds a BA (Hons) in International History from the London School of Economics.

Prior to joining Oakley, Peter spent six years at mid-market private equity firm, Silverfleet Capital in London where he focused on business services, healthcare and education investments across Europe. Peter started his career in Greenhill & Co’s M&A team, advising corporate clients on a variety of public and private company transactions.

Peter holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Nottingham.

Willy Dietzel

Prior to joining Oakley, Willy worked at Centerview Partners in London, where he advised on M&A transactions in the Consumer sector across Europe and North America.

Ben Li

Ben joined Oakley in 2021 and focuses primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice.

Prior to joining Oakley, Ben was a member of the private equity investment team at Permira based in Frankfurt. Previously, Ben worked in Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division in Frankfurt, where he advised on M&A and capital markets transactions in the German-speaking region.

Ben holds a MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics, UK, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering (first class honours) from the Berlin Institute of Technology, Germany.

Emilio Avati

Emilio joined Oakley in 2020 and focuses primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice.

Prior to joining Oakley, Emilio worked at Bain & Company, working on strategy and commercial due-diligence projects across the TMT, FMCG, education and public sectors. Previously, Emilio worked at Eurazeo Growth in Paris and Monitor Deloitte in Milan.

Emilio holds an MSc in Strategic Management from HEC Paris and a BSc (Hons) in Political Economy from Kings College London.

Giorgia Monterubbiano

Giorgia joined Oakley in 2021 and focuses primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice.

Prior to joining Oakley, Giorgia worked at Oliver Wyman in London and Milan, where she focused on strategy projects and commercial due-diligences across the Technology, Financial Services and Energy sectors. Previously Giorgia worked in the investment team of Kalaari Capital, a Technology-focused Venture Capital firm based in Bangalore (India).

Giorgia holds a MSc in International Management  (magna cum laude) and a BSc in Economics and Management from Bocconi University, and a Post Graduate programme (Double Degree) from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.

James McCallion

Investment Associate

James joined Oakley in 2019 and works across deal execution, origination and investment advice. He focuses on technology and consumer internet investments, and has worked on Oakley’s investments in Casa & atHome and idealista.

Prior to joining Oakley, James worked at Nets A/S, the leading payments technology business in the Nordics, where he worked in their recurring payments division. Previously, James worked for four years at OC&C Strategy Consultants, where he worked on commercial due diligence in TMT and business services.

James has an MA in Mathematics from Emmanuel College, Cambridge.

Kelsey Bayley

Kelsey joined Oakley in 2022 and focuses primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice.

Prior to joining Oakley, Kelsey worked at Silverfleet Capital in London, focusing on technology, healthcare and industrials investments across Europe. Previously, Kelsey spent four years at LDC working on investments in business services and alongside portfolio company management teams to deliver value creation projects.

Kelsey holds a BA in Business Management from Henley Business School and an MSc in Corporate Finance from Cass Business School.

Lilia Kyuchukova

Lilia joined Oakley in 2020 and focuses primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice.

Prior to joining Oakley, Lilia worked in Goldman Sachs’ investment banking team in London advising on M&A transactions across the TMT sectors. Previously, Lilia was part of PwC’s Strategy& team in London where she mainly worked on strategy and operations projects for UK and global telecom companies. Lilia started her carrier in PwC’s Audit department where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Lilia holds an MBA from London Business School, an MSc in Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics, and a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Birmingham.

Max Haddock

Max joined Oakley in 2020 and focuses on deal origination, execution and investment advice. During his time at Oakley, Max has worked on the investment in 7NXT and ICP Education.

Prior to joining, Max worked at Oakley’s former portfolio company Inspired Education Group, working on acquisitions and business development. Previously, Max worked at Lazard in London, where he advised on M&A transactions in the Consumer, Retail & Leisure sectors in Europe.

Vanessa joined Oakley in January 2022 and focuses primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice.

Prior to joining Oakley, Vanessa worked on Private Equity fund investments at HQ Capital and in EY’s Transaction Advisory Services team. Previously, Vanessa worked at FalkenSteg Corporate Finance in Munich, where she advised on distressed M&A transactions in the Consumers sector.

Vanessa holds an MSc in Management & Finance from IE Business School in Madrid and a BSc in Economics from Ludwig-Maximilian-University (LMU) in Munich.

Anna Simpson

Anna joined Oakley in 2015 to help develop the Investor Relations function. Anna’s responsibilities include assisting with fundraising activities, communicating with and reporting to investors and keeping the wider investment community updated on Oakley’s activities.

Prior to joining Oakley, Anna started her career with Ernst & Young LLP in the Financial Services Assurance practice. She worked primarily on audits of large life insurance companies. Post qualification, Anna transferred to EY’s Restructuring practice and worked across a variety of sectors.

Anna is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a BSc Joint Honours in Economics and Mathematics from Newcastle University.

Charlotte Woltz Bell

Investor Relations Director

Charlotte joined Oakley in 2021 and her responsibilities include developing global LP relationships, fundraising and investor relations activities.

Prior to joining Oakley, Charlotte worked at Stirling Square Capital Partners where she helped to establish the firm’s Investor Relations function. Previously, she worked in Investor Relations and Product Strategy for Highbridge Capital Management in New York. Charlotte began her career in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York, where she focused on Mergers & Acquisitions within the Global Industrials Group.

Charlotte holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina.

Tom Carlyle

Tom joined Oakley in 2021 and his responsibilities include developing global LP relationships, fundraising and investor relations activities.

Prior to joining Oakley, Tom worked at Houlihan Lokey where he was a senior member of the Private Funds Group, leading investor coverage in regions across Europe and Asia. Prior to Houlihan Lokey, Tom spent six years at Coller Capital, where he was a Principal within the Fundraising and Investor Relations team.

Tom started his career at Ernst & Young LLP, latterly in the Transaction Services team, performing sell-side and buy-side financial diligence for sponsor-led transactions. Tom qualified as a Chartered Accountant at EY, and holds a BA Hons in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham.

Alice Nicholls

Investor Relations Associate

Alice joined Oakley in August 2016 and assists with investor relations activities, including fundraising, communicating with and reporting to investors, as well as assisting with the public relations (PR) function. She is also responsible for maintaining and developing the Oakley brand.

Alice graduated from the University of Exeter where she obtained a Bachelor of Art’s degree in Geography.

Rosanna Heward

Investor Relations Associate

Rosanna joined the Investor Relations function at Oakley in 2020. Rosanna’s responsibilities include assisting with fundraising activities, communicating with and reporting to investors and keeping the wider investment community updated on Oakley’s activities.

Prior to joining Oakley, Rosanna started her career with Deloitte LLP in the Audit and Assurance practice. She worked primarily on audits of internationally and dual listed clients.

Rosanna is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Bristol.

Kian Henry

Distribution Officer

Kian joined Oakley in 2021 to assist with investor relations and distribution activities, based in Oakley’s Luxembourg office.

Prior to joining Oakley, Kian worked as the private equity Product Specialist at emerging markets investor Actis, where he was responsible for investor relations, fundraising and establishing the distribution framework in the EU. Prior to joining Actis, Kian worked in the investor relations team at Hermes GPE.

Kian holds a BSc (Econ) in Economics and Finance from Cardiff University.

Aga Siemiginowska

Head of Sustainability

Aga joined Oakley in 2020 and has over 13 years of experience in sustainability and environmental risk. Aga’s focus at Oakley is to support the incorporation of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into the investment process, and to engage with portfolio companies on ESG topics and projects.

Prior to joining Oakley, Aga served as the interim Head of ESG at Permira, working with deal teams and directly with portfolio companies. Before this, Aga spent 12 years as an environmental consultant, first at ERM then at Ramboll, advising corporate and financial sector clients on environmental risks and opportunities.

Aga holds an MSc in Nature, Society and Environmental Policy from Oxford University and a BA (Hons) in Geography and Political Science from Rutgers University, USA.

Fran Heckman

Sustainability Manager

Fran joined Oakley in 2022 and supports the incorporation of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors into the investment cycle.

Prior to joining Oakley, Fran was part of the ESG & Responsible Investment team at MJ Hudson where she advised GPs and LPs on how to integrate sustainability throughout the investment cycle. Previously, Fran worked in the DCM team at ING advising FIs on conventional and green bond issuances.

Fran holds an MSc Finance & Investments and an MSc Behavioural Economics, both from Erasmus University.

James Isola

Head of Communications

James joined Oakley in 2021 and is responsible for protecting and building the Oakley brand and helping to communicate key messages to stakeholders.

Prior to joining Oakley, James was a Partner at public relations company Maitland/AMO where he advised a number of private equity, asset management and hedge fund clients. Before joining Maitland James spent seven years at Bloomberg News as a financial journalist. Prior to Bloomberg, James qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in London.

James holds a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages from Durham University and a PGDip in Broadcast Journalism from City University.

Inna Lozinskaya

Corporate Engagement Co-ordinator

Inna provides research and executive support to the Private Equity team.

Educated in Russia and the UK, Inna is bilingual and prior to joining Oakley she worked with a corporate broker in the City.

Marianne Spanos

Head of Tax

Marianne joined Oakley in 2021 and has over 20 years of tax experience in the US, Luxembourg and the UK advising both asset managers and multinationals.  At Oakley, Marianne provides investment and group tax structuring and tax compliance support as well as administration/accounting and valuations oversight in Luxembourg.

Prior to joining Oakley, Marianne spent 17 years in public accounting working for PwC and EY in the US, Luxembourg and the UK. Marianne has also spent 6 years at CVC in Luxembourg as their Global tax director.  Marianne has extensive experience dealing with various international tax issues and types of legal and business structures as well as fund and deals structuring.

Marianne holds an MAcc in Accounting with a specialty in Tax and a BA Degree in Accounting, both from the University of Florida. She is also a US Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Tom Davidson

Finance Director

Tom joined Oakley in 2015 and focuses primarily on internal financial operations, financial reporting, and business operations.

Prior to joining Oakley, Tom worked in the group management information and statutory reporting functions of an international auction house for 5 years. Previously, Tom was at PwC in London, auditing a range of private, mid-market and listed entities.

Tom is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a BSc in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Durham.

James Rennie

Head of Fund Finance

James joined Oakley in 2020 and primarily focuses on fund finance,financial reporting and business operations.

Prior to joining Oakley, James worked in the group external reporting function of a FTSE 100 insurer and asset manager. Previously, James was a senior manager at PwC in London, spending seven years auditing a range of private equity and global insurance clients.

James is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a BSc in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol.

Lauritz von Hörsten

Fund Accounting Manager

Lauritz joined Oakley in 2020 and primarily focuses on operations, fund accounting and financial reporting.

Prior to joining Oakley, Lauritz was the financial manager at a manufacturing company in Cape Town, South Africa. He co-founded a consulting firm specialising in business administration, tax and accounting services to medium sized entities. He has 13 years of experience in accounting and financial management.

Lauritz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.

Jack Dymoke

Senior Fund Accountant

Jack joined Oakley in 2020 and primarily focuses on fund finance, financial reporting and business operations.

Prior to joining Oakley, Jack started his career in the audit department of Rees Pollock, where he provided audit services to hedge fund managers and private equity clients.

Jack is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Birmingham.

Dévan de Lange

Senior Fund Accountant

Devan joined Oakley in 2021 and primarily focuses on operations, transfer pricing, fund accounting and financial reporting.

Prior to joining Oakley, Devan worked at Deloitte Luxembourg in the Investment Management Audit division. He started his career at Baker Tilly Greenwoods in South Africa.

Devan is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) from Stellenbosch University, South Africa.

Gamal Nur

Fund Accountant

Gamal joined Oakley in 2021 and primarily focuses on fund finance, financial reporting and business operations.

Prior to joining Oakley, Gamal started his career in the audit department of PwC London, where he provided audit services to a range of pharmaceutical, technology and real estate investment clients.

Gamal is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a MSc in Finance and a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance, both from Cass Business School.

Prior to joining Oakley, Tom worked for four years in the corporate audit department of KPMG, where he provided audit services to a number of multinational consumer goods companies and marketing agencies.

Tom holds a BSc (Hons) in Accountancy from the University of Birmingham.

Sam Sawers

Financial Analysis Manager

Sam joined Oakley in 2020 and focuses on financial analysis and reporting.

Prior to Oakley, Sam spent 13 years at PwC, providing deal support and financial due diligence services to private equity, institutional and corporate investors in a range of sectors. Sam spent the first part of his career with PwC providing audit services to technology and media companies in the UK.

Sam is a qualified chartered accountant and has a BA (Hons) in Comparative American Studies from Warwick University.

Maritz Theron

Head of Fund Operations

Maritz joined Oakley in 2019 and is responsible for Luxembourg and Fund Operations within the Oakley Group. He has over 13 years of financial risk and compliance experience in banking and specialised finance.

Prior to joining Oakley, Maritz managed compliance analytics and reporting at the Butterfield Group following its NYSE listing, and advised on balance sheet management, liquidity risk and forecasting whilst under private equity ownership of Carlyle and CIBC. He started his career at Nedbank and Old Mutual Specialised Finance in South Africa.

Maritz is a qualified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Associate of the International Compliance Association (AICA), and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from Stellenbosch University, South Africa.

Jérôme Absil

Fund Operations Manager

Jerome joined Oakley in 2021 and primarily focuses on the development and operations of the Luxembourg office.

Prior to joining Oakley, Jerome served as Head of the Fund oversight department at Lemanik Asset Management where he was responsible for the operational and regulatory monitoring of the investment vehicles under management. He started his career at Alter Domus in Luxembourg.

Jerome holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from HELMo business school in Liege.

Gabriel Fauchille

Fund Operations Associate

Gabriel joined Oakley in 2022 and focuses on fund operations in the Luxembourg office.

Prior to joining Oakley, Gabriel was a Manager at KPMG Luxembourg, where he audited a wide range of private equity funds. He launched his career as a management controller at Didactic, a SME that produced medical devices.

Gabriel holds a Master’s degree in finance and accounting from Neoma Business School in Rouen, France.

Emmanuel Rasolohery

Business Administration Manager

Emmanuel joined Oakley in 2020 and primarily focuses on operations, fund accounting and financial reporting.

Prior to joining Oakley, Emmanuel was Financial Manager at Cushman & Wakefield Luxembourg for five years. His role at Cushman included a jurisdictional relocation of accounting operations and establishment of a new team in Luxembourg. During his ten years of industry experience, Emmanuel also worked as senior real estate accountant at BNP Paribas Luxembourg.

Emmanuel holds a Bachelor degree in Finance and Accounting from IFCE business school in Strasbourg.

Marcus Biggs

Head of Legal - Corporate

Marcus joined Oakley in 2017 and has 25 years experience advising on legal matters with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, equity financing and company law. At Oakley, Marcus provides legal support and guidance to the Group.

Prior to joining Oakley, Marcus was a counsel at City law firm SJ Berwin (which later became King & Wood Mallesons). At SJ Berwin, Marcus led numerous transactions for both private equity and strategic investors, as well as overseeing a large number of Stock Exchange listings and public market fundraisings.

Marcus has an LLB in law from Exeter University and also attended Exeter University’s law school.

Peter Schaffer

Senior Legal Counsel

Peter joined Oakley in 2021 from private practice law and provides legal support to the Group, with a particular focus on fundraising, working closely with the investor relations and investment teams.

Prior to joining Oakley, Peter was part of the private funds team at Weil, Gotshal and Manges, advising a number of blue chip private equity firms on fundraising and fund-advisory work.

Peter holds a degree in English Literature from Durham University and is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.

Alex Arnold

Head of Compliance

Alex joined Oakley in 2021 and is responsible Oakley’s Compliance function across the Oakley Group. He has over 12 years of compliance experience across a range of financial service sectors.

Prior to joining Oakley, Alex managed the compliance program at Northlander Commodity Advisors LLP and held both the Compliance Officer (SMF16) and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (SMF17) functions at Bardin Hill Loan Advisors (UK) LLP.

 

Sasha Goff

Compliance Manager

Sasha joined Oakley in 2013 and assists in monitoring compliance across the Oakley Group, writing policies for the firm and ensuring that they are up to date with changes in laws and regulations. Sasha also conducts in-house annual training for Anti-Money Laundering.

Prior to joining Oakley, Sasha worked as a Paralegal at Berwin Leighton Paisner in the Litigation department and before that also as a Paralegal at Rosling King LLP.

Sasha has completed both the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course, and holds a BSc (Hons) in Social Policy from Bristol University.

Kleio Douka

Compliance Manager

Kleio joined Oakley in 2021 to assist with compliance monitoring, policy writing and regulatory change monitoring  in Oakley’s Luxembourg office.

Prior to joining Oakley, Kleio worked as Compliance Manager at Intertrust Fund Management (Luxembourg) and prior to that as Compliance Officer at Aztec Financial Services Luxembourg.

Kleio is a qualified lawyer in Greece, a Luxembourg certified Compliance Officer and holds a Bachelor Degree in Law from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.

Antoine Lebrun

Risk Manager

Antoine joined Oakley in 2022 and focuses on Risk Management across the Group.

Prior to joining Oakley, Antoine was Treasury Director at Glovo, Spain’s top unicorn, focusing on liquidity, FX, investments and debt management. Antoine also worked in various PE owned Holding Companies. He started his career in the Financial Industry as Risk Officer on the trading floor of BNP Paribas in Luxembourg.

Antoine holds a dual MBA from IE Business School and Singapore Management University and a dual Master’s degree in Finance from Louvain School of Management and ICHEC.

Efstathia Pitsa

Senior Compliance Associate

Efstathia joined Oakley in 2022 and focuses on compliance reviews and monitoring, regulation implementation and advisory for the London office.

Prior to joining Oakley, Efstathia worked for a compliance consultancy firm and before that she worked in-house for a UK based hedge fund and a real estate investment firm. She started her career at the University of Cambridge where she worked as an academic in the field of entrepreneurship.

Efstathia holds a PhD in Business Studies and an Mphil in Finance from the University of Cambridge as well as an undergraduate degree in Management Science and Technology from the Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece.

Keegan Geraghty

Compliance Analyst

Keegan joined Oakley in 2022 to assist the Legal and Compliance teams across the Oakley Group, including compliance monitoring, policy and procedure development, and regulatory change monitoring.

Prior to joining Oakley, Keegan worked as a Compliance Analyst at Xe.com who specialise in currency exchange.

Andrew Gillen

Head of IT

Andrew joined Oakley in 2014 and is responsible for leading the onsite IT team.

Prior to joining Oakley, Andrew was a senior infrastructure engineer at Daisy Communications.

Andrew holds a PGDip in Data Communications from Kingston University and a BSc (hons) in Business Computing from Surrey University.

Helene Kutz

Executive Assistant

Helene joined Oakley in July 2018 and provides admin and team support to the Private Equity team in Munich.

She completed her apprenticeship to become a Hotel Specialist in Berlin and has been working for over 10 years in hotels around the world.

Camelia Belab

Camelia joined Oakley in 2022 and provides admin and team support to the Private Equity team in Luxembourg.

Educated in Sweden, Camelia is trilingual and speaks fluent English, French and Swedish. Prior to joining Oakley, Camelia supported the team of a wealth management firm in Luxembourg for over 5 years.
